Level 3 Food Systems Consultant Training – Financial Resilience (May 2024)

What is the Level 3 Financial Resilience Consultant Training?

This training will provide advanced training for consultants who have already participated in our Levels 1 and 2 Food Systems Consultant Training.

Focused on Financial Resilience, the topics include:

• Day 1 (May 15, 10am – 3pm Central) – Tools to help you support financially-struggling enterprises such as:
  • cash flow management,
  • turnarounds, and mergers
  • social enterprise financing,
  • leveraging grants, and
  • public finance sources.
• Day 2 (May 16, 10am – 3pm Central): Growing diversified hub business models through sales and marketing (and channel expansion through selling foods online) + social financing mechanisms like leveraging grants and conservation revenue opportunities.

About Your Instructor

Eric DeLuca is the FFI Food Systems Expert in Residence and Founder of Leverage Point Consulting. DeLuca has engaged in over $10 million in funding decisions benefiting working lands enterprises since 2010 and serves on the national Food Systems Finance Advisory Council of the Council of Development Finance Agencies.
